ZingZillas website wins a BAFTA!

I am delighted to have been a part of the team at Plug-In Media that made the ZingZillas interactive experience on the Cbeebies site. It won the Childrens Interactive BATFA last night. I was responsible for building the 3D environments and incidental characters.

3D World Magazine - Issue 137

My tutorial on setting up and animating a game character is now out in 3D World magazine. The designs are also in ImagineFX magazine.

 

 

 

also .. Carphone Warehouse Christmas ad

The Carphone Warehouse ad I worked on is now on air for Christmas. I was involved in modelling the Ogre character and the mince pie and set up the lighting and rendering for several shots. I had great fun using Renderman for the pie and sss on the Ogre.

3D World Magazine

Look out for the next issue of 3D World magazine, available ine the UK November 18th. I wrote an article on creating walk cycles using CAT for 3ds Max. As part of the commission, I designed and modelled this hulking ogre creature..

I am pleased to announce that the ZingZillas website has been nominated for a BAFTA award in the category Childrens Interactive. Developed while part of the team at Plug-In Media, I am excited to see if we can repeat a win after Plug-In scooped the award last year for the Big and Small website.

The Octonauts

The Octonauts are a wonderful series of episides created for the BBC channel Cbeebies. I was involved in modelling the background elements for the 3 games on the site. The taks involved adhering closely to the design style set by the creators of the series.
