Concepts and Modelling
Here is a selection of images showcasing the broad range of characters and vehicles I have created for various games and commercials on a huge range of different platforms. My tools of choice are to model a quick base mesh in 3ds Max or Maya, then sculpt the details in Mudbox. Unwrap UVs in Unfold 3D and final UV layout in Max or Maya. Then back to Mudbox for the painting, switching to photoshop as needed. I will also bake out Normals, Displacement and AO in Max or Mudbox. I have also used ZBrush for many of these characters, but prefer the Mudbox interface despite the lack of range of tools.
